Detective Conan: The Princess from the World of Magic

The good guys’ side, redemption for the police academy group, dissociative identity, lighthearted comedy. The author mainly wanted to write a tearjerker but couldn’t. Feedback is welcome. Characters may act out of character. Readers have said the training arc at the beginning is a bit of a minefield, so you may want to skip it. You can read this even if you haven’t watched Detective Conan, but it contains a lot of canon material. Born into a royal family that favored sons over daughters, Meng Linxue felt deep hostility toward older men before she turned twelve. Until one day Matsuda: “Hey, kid, what are you doing here?” Meng Linxue: “Get lost!” Hagiwara: “You scared her with that scary face of yours, Jinpei. Little girl, what are you doing here?” Meng Linxue: “Get lost!” Under the police academy group’s relentless efforts, Meng Linxue changed her mistaken views about men and came to see them as her older brothers. They, in turn, raised her like a little sister. Then one day, she ran into Gin around a corner. He took her to the Organization, where she was groomed as its next generation. During a mission, her dormant second personality, An, awoke. Little by little, the second personality took over her body, and the original personality lost control of it. One day, three newcomers joined the Organization. Amuro Tooru and Midorikawa Hikaru were stunned to see a face that had been missing for a long time. At the same time, the original personality began showing signs that she could control her body again… She was supposed to be a beautiful, strong, tragic character, but I couldn’t write that. Instead, the story got sillier and sillier. The author is in middle school and isn’t a good writer, so please don’t flame me if you don’t like it.
