Dorgon

As one of the founders of the Qing Dynasty, some people say that Dorgon is a success, while others say that he is a failure. The long historical critical biography "Dorgon" is based on the premise of fully respecting history, taking the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties as the background, depicting the mixed life of Dorgon, and opening up a magnificent picture of a period of social transition. Dorgon grew up under the protection of his father, Nurhachi, Taizu of the Qing Dynasty, and rose up under the support of Emperor Taizong of the Qing Dynasty, Huang Taiji. In the process of Huang Taiji's conquest of the Mongolian tribes, Dorgon was actually an important executor and captured the imperial seal. Huang Taiji ascended the throne and was renamed Emperor of the Qing Dynasty from the Great Khan of the Later Jin Dynasty, leading the Qing regime towards feudalization. Dorgon led the Eight Banners to take control of the Central Plains. As regent, he held the imperial seal and wielded power. He coerced his nephew, the young emperor Shunzhi, and named himself regent to his uncle, regent to his uncle, and regent to his father. After Dorgon's death, Emperor Shunzhi posthumously named him Emperor Cheng Zongyi.
