Because of Chang Ning’s recklessness, Fu You was infected and turned into a zombie, losing consciousness and becoming a mindless walking corpse.
Overcome with guilt and regret, Chang Ning left the survivor base with Fu You and began a life wandering between the worlds of humans and zombies.

After unexpectedly gaining a psychic ability, Chang Ning learned that he was living in a novel. The male and female leads were chosen ones, children of destiny, and masters of the novel’s world! And supporting characters like him were nothing but tools and cannon fodder, there to entertain them!

The flames of vengeance blazed in his heart. When Chang Ning opened his eyes again, he had returned to the very beginning of the apocalypse.
He opened the door and saw a tall, handsome man standing by the dining table, flashing a big, toothy grin as he said:
“Come try what I just made, Chang Ning!”
Chang Ning’s eyes filled with tears. Fu You hadn’t become a zombie yet. This time, he would make sure they didn’t repeat the past!
