(Wuxia + single heroine + slow-paced + fictional world)
High in the Kunlun Mountains of Yunan Province stands Tainan Sword Manor. Bai Yusheng is the ninth disciple of Tainan Sword Manor.
Yunan Province lies on the border of the Twelve Provinces, where barbarian soldiers frequently raid the passes. The old dynasty has only just fallen, and a new dynasty is rising across the Twelve Provinces.
Since the border passes are held by a prince of the old dynasty, forces throughout Yunan Province have begun to marginalize the frontier. The people who once lived there have been left with no choice but to survive alongside the army, living in constant fear.
Entrusted by his master, Bai Yusheng descends the mountain alone. To atone for the wrongs he committed amid the turmoil of the age, the young man heads south, searching for answers along the way.
