The Vengeful Bride

[Chinese-style horror] [One female lead] [Extremely protective of her husband] [Supernatural mystery] [Not a power fantasy] Wu Zhujun, a middle-aged bachelor, finds 400 yuan in the dead of night before getting on a bus. Little does he know it's the dowry of a female ghost in a haunted house! “You took my things, so from now on, you'll belong to me for all eternity.” The bride in red pins Wu Zhujun beneath the wedding bed, her icy hand caressing his face as she smiles with a sickening delight. “Hey, sis, can't we talk this out?!!!!” Wu Zhujun: I can't handle the devoted love of my ghostly big sister!! What he doesn't know is that everything that happened was actually planned... Planned by “him” himself, and by someone else, too. And all of it was meant to break a century-old curse, for the sake of his beloved, and for the sake of... staying alive. I'm sorry. I used all of you, and I used myself, too. The man stands atop a tall building, facing the wind on the roof. Then he leaps. The figure in the red wedding dress catches him in her arms and whispers softly in his ear: “You're not allowed to die without my permission, my husband. Hehehehehe.” As the ancients said, there are three poisons: greed, delusion, and anger. Greed gives rise to delusion, delusion gives rise to anger, anger gives rise to madness, and madness gives rise to resentment. Resentment stirs the Three Primordial Forces and disturbs the Six Senses. When the Three Primordial Forces are unstable and the Six Senses impure, ghosts and spirits appear. A ghost is a ghost, yet not a ghost; a person is a person, yet not a person. If you do nothing reckless, why would a ghost knock at your door? A century of grievances and four years of hatred will finally be settled today! Look in the mirror. The person inside, is that you?
