"Biyuan Tan Jing" is an important missionary classic of Wang Changyue, a high-ranking Taoist of the Longmen School of Quanzhen Taoism in the late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty. The Longmen School's "resurgence" in the early Qing Dynasty was largely related to the measures promoted by Wang Changyue to observe the precepts and disciplines, open altars to confer precepts, and refine the mind and cultivate the character. The issue of life and death is the core issue of religion, and Taoism is no exception. Therefore, the pursuit of "longevity and long-term vision" has become the primary goal of the Taoist ideological system of Taoism, Dharma, and magic. Wang Changyue also focused on his views on "immortality" in the "Biyuan Tan Sutra", which reflects the return of Quanzhen Taoism in the monastic thought of the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, that is, the return to the mainstream of monastic thought in the Mongolian and Yuan Dynasties, and it is also a measure to rectify the source.

The mental and physical obstacles mentioned in this book resonate with me. In life, we are indeed easily confused by various things and cannot distinguish between true and false, good and evil. Moreover, the description of obstacles in the book is also very vivid, like a dark cloud over a city, making people afraid to move forward. However, as long as we work hard to remove obstacles like what the book says, we can find the true meaning of life. This book not only gives us a deeper understanding of Taoism, but also inspires us to think about life.
The supreme and wonderful way of the true scriptures
Full marks, full marks. The saints and sages sincerely explain the true meaning of practice and clear away the clouds and mist for all living beings. If you can understand its principles, immortals and Buddhas can prove that the great road can be achieved.
