"The Theory of Righteousness", Sanskrit Hetuvidyā nyāya dvāra śāstra, also known as "The Theory of Righteousness" and "The Theory of Reason", is a fundamental theoretical work of the New Causes and Mingxue in India, written by Diṅnāga, the master of the New Causes and Mingxue of Buddhism, in one volume. In the Tang Dynasty, Yijing translated it in the second year of Tang Jingyun (711) at the Sutra Translation Institute of Dajianfu Temple in Luoyang, and his disciples Xuan Umbrella, Zhiji and others accepted it. Collected in the 32nd volume of "Taisho Zang". This book is the same version as the volume "Yin Ming Zhengli Men Lun Ben" translated by Xuanzang in the 23rd year of Zhenguan (649).
