Records of the West Lake Old Man's Famous Victories

One of the twenty-four histories of "Book of Jin". The recorded history starts from the early years of Sima Yi during the Three Kingdoms period, down to the second year of Yuanxi (420), the second year of Emperor Gong of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, when Liu Yu deposed the Jin emperor and established himself, establishing the Song Dynasty as the Jin Dynasty. The book also records the status of the political power of the sixteen countries in the form of "records". The compilation of the Book of Jin began in the 20th year of Zhenguan (646 AD) and was completed in the 22nd year (648 AD), which took less than three years. Twenty-one people participated in the compilation, including Fang Xuanling, Chu Suiliang, and Xu Jingzong as supervisors, and the remaining eighteen were Linghu Defen, Jing Bo, Lai Ji, Lu Yuanshi, Liu Ziyi, Lu Chengji, Li Chunfeng, Li Yifu, Xue Yuancao, Shangguan Yi, Cui Xinggong, Xin Qiuyu, Liu Yinzhi, Yang Renqing, Li Yanshou, Zhang Wengong, Li Anqi, and Li Huayan. Astronomy, laws and calendars, and the Five Elements and Three Records were written by Li Chunfeng; the style of compiling history was drawn up by Jingbo and has not been handed down. Since Li Shimin (Taizong of the Tang Dynasty) had written four historical treatises on Emperor Xuan (Sima Yi), Emperor Wu (Sima Yan), and two biographies of Lu Ji and Wang Xizhi, he was also titled "Imperial Writing"
