"Guwen Guanzhi" is a selection of ancient prose compiled by Wu Chucai and Wu Tiaohou of the Qing Dynasty. It was originally a textbook for students. The "ancient prose" in the book's title refers to the ancient prose of the Eight Great Masters of the Tang and Song Dynasties advocated by Gui Youguang, Mao Kun and others in the dynasty, while "Guanzhi" means that the collected articles represent the highest level of classical Chinese.
