Naughty! The Stolen Canary Is Rebellious to the Core

[Secret Crush / Love by Force / Both Leads’ First Times / The Heroine Had a Former Fiancé] Synopsis from the heroine’s perspective: When I was three, a little boy came to live with my family. His arm was covered in terrible burn scars. I couldn’t bear to look whenever his bandages were changed, but he never made a sound, as if he couldn’t feel pain. He hardly ever spoke, and his face was always expressionless, like a hard stone. I noticed that he liked to hide in the shadows and watch me play with Muyang, so I asked him, “Brother Aji, would you like to play with me?” It turned out even a hard stone could smile. After that, he would wait for me so we could walk to school together, wait for me after school, wait to play with me, and save the best food for when I got home. He was always waiting for me. But I never paid much attention. My father had told me I would marry Muyang when I grew up, and that Muyang was the only one I could love. On my eighteenth birthday, he asked what I wanted as a present. I said, “The most steadfast love in the world.” Muyang had already given me that love. I could have married the person I loved most and lived a happy life, but he trapped me in this little world. From then on, my life was shrouded in darkness. Synopsis from the hero’s perspective: When I was seven, a fire took my parents. From then on, I was at the mercy of others. I used to like hiding in the shadows and watching them play. The adults all said I was strange and difficult to get along with. Only she would call me “Brother Aji” in her soft, sweet voice and ask, “Would you like to play with me?” That day, it felt as if I had met a kindhearted god. From then on, she became the nightmare that haunted me for twenty years. Even though I knew I had no chance from the moment I fell for her, I still had to take her away. I would tell her that I alone could give her the most steadfast love in the world.
