I think this is the real Wan Zhen'er. I have seen it said before that Zhen'er harmed the emperor and the harem. I think it is untrue. For example, her love for Xianzong would not be such a person. Historical records are not necessarily accurate, because people's hearts do not like other people's kindness. Thank the author for truthfully expressing Wan Zhen'er's kindness and benevolence.

Of course, everything I've heard before is negative. History is written by future generations and superiors. Most of the records should be what they want future generations to know and see. They may not all be true. Future generations should interpret history from various angles. Those in higher positions often do things that they cannot help but say but do not mean what they say, and those below often do things based on their own interests. After reading the story of Xianzong and Wan Zhen'er, I understand the meaning of the sentence "Don't persuade others to be good without others' suffering". What you hear and see may not be true and objective. Only what you experience personally is the most real. Don't judge others easily according to public opinion!
