Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty was indeed a hero of his generation. He attacked the Xiongnu in the north, conquered Baiyue and Jiaozhi in the south, and connected with the Silk Road in the west. He cultivated military skills externally and unified his thoughts internally. However, he was old and suspicious, and believed too much in the words of the alchemists. As a result, Huo Shan died, searched for immortals in Donglai, lost his son due to witchcraft, and let others comment on his merits and demerits over the past thousand years.
This book is very good! It vividly shows the life of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. I especially like the part describing the war scenes in the book, which is very spectacular. The characters are also very distinct, and loyal ministers like Zhidu are admirable. However, it was really sad to see the scene where Yuan Ang was killed. Overall, this book gave me a deeper understanding of that era and is worth reading!
I feel very heavy. I cannot deny the great achievements of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, nor can I bear to ignore the blood-stained frontier under his feet. The Great Wall only supports the hope of the common people for peace. The vicissitudes of history have drowned the immortal backbones of tens of millions of Chinese people. Looking back, the past has become a tragedy. I lament that Li Guang, a famous general of the generation, has a river of blood flowing from his loyal family! May world peace! May the people be healthy...
The writing is good and the story is strong. Being a kind-hearted person, it was indeed not easy for Emperor Khan Wu. Serve the country sincerely.
The content is substantial, the language is exquisite, the historical reality is restored, and it is magnificent!
