The Marsh Flows On Like Spring Water

Princess Xuanyuan Ling, a Shura, followed the God of War of the Heavenly Realm for eight lifetimes, hoping to be with him forever. In every life, love eluded her and she was abandoned. At last, her heart died, and she was reborn into the demon clan as Yu Qinglun. Yet she still could not escape fate: she met Wen Suyan, who had become a Celestial Master. The two forged a bond when one saved the other, then set off together to seek the Six-Soul Banner. Along the way, they fell in love once more. But through a twist of fate, Xuanyuan Ling recovered her memories and gave up on love again. The child the two had conceived lost its life because of Shiming. Xuanyuan Ling and Shiming ultimately went their separate ways, missing out on the fate that awaited them in their tenth life. After cultivating their bond through ten lifetimes, they still could not be together.
