The Nation-Guarding Princess Is No Easy Match

She wakes up after working on her thesis to discover she has transmigrated to the Tang Dynasty and become Princess Taiping. The original owner leaves her a message: Live another life, and protect Wu Zhao, protect Wan’er, and protect yourself. Only by standing firm at the pinnacle of power can you take control of your own fate. In this second life, she is still the Princess Who Guards the State. But not the Princess Who Guards the State of the Li Tang Dynasty. She is the Princess Who Guards the State of Wu Zhou. The most beloved little princess of the Great Tang? That won’t satisfy her. If she’s going to do it, she’ll become an empress. Updates won’t follow a set order. I’ll update whichever volume inspires me. Volume One: The Fall of Mount Wanyi: Prologue Volume Two: New Blossoms Follow the Shears: Shangguan Wan’er Leaves the Ye Ting Palace Volume Three: My Thoughts Reach You from Ten Thousand Miles Away: Princess Taiping Becomes a Nun Volume Four: United Like Matched Jade: Wu Zetian Ascends the Throne Volume Five: May the Grand Fortune Last Forever: Princess Taiping Succeeds to the Throne Volume Six: Extras Please note the following 1. The official pairing is Wanping. Xue Shao and Wu Youji will only be mentioned as supporting characters. Empress Wei and Princess Anle are not political enemies of Wanping in this story. They resolve their conflicts and join forces. 2. I can’t stand people saying anything bad about Wu Zetian, Shangguan Wan’er, or Princess Taiping. 3. Princess Taiping’s personal name is unknown, so I made one up for this story. Many of the names are invented as well. 4. Please don’t nitpick the historical details. In this story, Princess Taiping’s political allegiance is no longer to the Li Tang Dynasty, and she will take the surname Wu. The heir to the throne will be a woman, not a man, and power will not be returned to the Li Tang Dynasty.
