Tang Tian's father died young, leaving him and his mother to depend on each other. After graduating from high school, Tang Tian estimated that he had done well on the college entrance exam and could get into a fairly good university. But when admission results came out, his name was nowhere to be found. He had no idea why, until he learned that the village chief's son had stolen his exam results and taken his place. Tang Tian and his mother began petitioning for justice, but the village chief had someone beat his mother to death and turned Tang Tian into a simpleton. Still not satisfied, he hired people to shatter every bone in Tang Tian's body and threw him into a sinkhole. He was rescued by the ancestor of the Divine Healer Sect, who took him as a disciple and set him on the path of medicine. Later, the ancestor passed the sect leadership to Tang Tian. But his grand-uncle had coveted the position for years and made trouble for him at every turn. Tang Tian's martial arts, however, were unfathomably powerful. He was the only person capable of breaking through the Heavenly Sage Realm, and he had also mastered the Divine Eye and the Thirteen Ghost Gate Needles, leaving his grand-uncle helpless. Later, when China's National Security Bureau recruited him, Tang Tian brought the Divine Healer Sect into the bureau and rose to a senior position. During a nationwide crackdown on crime, the village chief was sentenced to death for his involvement in organized crime, while his son, Zhao Qinglin, was fired for stealing someone else's exam results. Tang Tian's grand-uncle was also sentenced to life in prison for selling state secrets. With his great revenge finally achieved, Tang Tian led the Divine Healer Sect in making many contributions to the country. He later married his fourth senior sister and led the sect to new heights.
