Eight-year age gap
Seven years ago, the Beijiang University women's basketball team won the university league championship. But a few days later, the team's star player was cut and vanished without a trace. Qi Hao vowed that one day he would find that person. Seven years later, Qi Hao became a key player on the Beijiang University men's basketball team and led them to another league championship. The person he had been searching for all along turned out to be the inconspicuous female referee at the final. After a game, Qi Hao became deeply interested in this referee, unaware that their roles as a player and a referee would bring both of them many challenges.
“Qi Hao, what will you do if you can never play basketball again?”
“My reason for playing basketball was you. Without you, basketball means nothing to me.”
“Basketball used to be everything to me. But after I left the team and then met you, I understood: you're everything to me.”
