Introduction This book is the memoirs of former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. It is an abridged version of his 6-volume "Memoirs of the Second World War" with a total of 900,000 words. As an eyewitness of World War II, a key figure in the decisive victory of World War II, and one of the world's three giants, he used a large amount of first-hand authoritative information and wrote in the first person to comprehensively, vividly and authoritatively narrate and analyze the ins and outs of World War II from the cause and process to the decisive victory. This book is divided into four parts: Part One, Pre-war Storm (1919-1940.5.10). The second part, Fighting Alone (1940.5.10-1941.6.22), Describes the failure of the Battle of France, which resulted in Britain fighting alone. Part Three, The Grand Alliance (from December 7, 1941). Part Four, Triumph and Tragedy (1943-1945).
