Great Ming, I'm Not Becoming Emperor

After Zhu Jiuri, a young man from a later age, accidentally transmigrates into the body of Zhu Gaoxu, Prince of Han in the Ming dynasty, he finds himself facing his brilliant and mighty father, the Yongle Emperor, his overweight and sickly elder brother, the crown prince, and his beloved nephew, the cherished Sage Grandson... Zhu Gaoxu instinctively decides to play it safe. He is determined to head far away to Yunnan to take up his fief and live as a carefree prince. He will never let history repeat itself and end up as a prince roasted on a spit. “Father, I don’t want to oversee the state. I want to go to my fief.” “Big Brother, this is the Five Animal Frolics. You really should practice it!” “Dear nephew, why are you playing with firecrackers? Come on, let your second uncle show you some real cannons!” “Oh, you’re Zheng He? On your next voyage, wipe out that island over there while you’re at it!” And so, under Zhu Gaoxu’s influence, the rolling wheel of Ming history veered further and further off course, heading toward a vast new world.
