Because It’s You, My Top-Tier Star Girl

I’m Wuwei, a newcomer in the entertainment industry.

She’s Qingling, a top-tier starlet.

When I was an ordinary fan, I was one of her purple fans. Later, I joined the entertainment industry to win her over and make her my girlfriend.

Today, three years after entering the industry, I’m meeting her properly for the first time. I never expected it to happen at the cast dinner before filming began.

Wuwei lightly licks his upper lip, his voice hoarse. “Hello, I’m Wuwei. Long time no see.”

Qingling holds out her chubby little hand. “Hi, I’m Qingling. Long time no see? Have we met before?”

Qingling looks at him, puzzled.

At last, he feels a little more grounded.

Feeling his hand tremble slightly, Qingling asks with concern,

“Are you okay? Do you feel unwell?”

Wuwei gently shakes his head.

He’s waited five years for this moment.

Looking into those familiar eyes, Qingling feels sure she’s seen them somewhere before, but she can’t remember where.

She furrows her brow, searching her memory for a trace of those eyes.

The gears of fate begin to turn.
