This is an experimental story, just something I wrote to practice. It’s really bad, so don’t read it.
The apocalypse breaks out.
Wang Hao binds himself to the Myriad Mirrors Space System, and is astonished to discover that it lets him travel through mirror worlds.
What’s more, time flows completely at random in these mirror worlds, and he can bring things back to reality. So Wang Hao...
“Hey, kid, tell me, what year is it?”
“It’s the Immortal Qin era. You don’t even know that? And who are you calling a kid? I’m eight hundred years old.”
“What? You’re eight hundred? Then I’m eight thousand!”
“Little friend, you do love to talk nonsense. Cultivation is all the rage in the Immortal Qin era, and people can regain their youth. Living for a few hundred years is perfectly normal...”
Wang Hao travels through mirror worlds along different timelines, learning cultivation, stealing weapons, and eventually making the invading aliens kneel and sing “Conquer” in the mirror world...
Looking at the events and masterpieces he had created, Wang Hao straightened his collar and grinned.
“Remember, from now on, I’m the only player in the mirror world. Call me Zero.”...
But still... with all this going on, how is Wang Hao supposed to tell a mirror world from reality?
“No! I’m not schizophrenic! None of this is real! I don’t believe it!”...
