Tu Lao, formerly known as Tu Mengqiu, with the English name Farmer, is extremely hardworking. He is often busy without getting results, earning himself the nickname Tu Lao, “Hardworking Tu.”
By chance, he lands a job at an international 4A advertising agency. His diligence directly challenges the international rules of the workplace. He goes head-to-head with one Hong Kong-style director after another, as well as Japanese-style directors. Eventually, after becoming the local director, he finds himself entangled with the fake Hong Kong girl Eva, whether by choice or not, as he fights his way through each new challenge.
