Chapter 1: Night falls, and the city lights come on. Detective Lin Tao stands at the crime scene, brow furrowed as he surveys the ransacked room. It looks like an ordinary home invasion and robbery, but the deeper Lin Tao investigates, the more he senses that a series of closely guarded secrets lie beneath the surface.
