The content of this book is profound, but Schopenhauer's exposition is brilliant. His thorough analysis of appearance and will gave me a new understanding of the world. Especially the discussion about human cognitive abilities made me understand that our perceptions may not be reliable. But this book really requires patience and study, and I had to read it a few times before I could fully understand it.
