[Women's Figure Skating] [No Romance (meaning it isn't mentioned in the main story)] [Partly fictionalized] [Competition-by-competition, documentary-style account] [From Pyeongchang to Beijing]

Yang Bo'an stood on the ice, seemingly surrounded by cheers on all sides. “Just standing here, she shines. She is a flower blooming on the ice,” the commentator said. From junior to senior, from Pyeongchang to Beijing, Yang Bo'an achieved her dream, standing on the podium with her country's flag in hand.

(I’m a figure-skating novice, so the technical descriptions may not be accurate, and some things might not be realistic. Please let me know about any rule-related errors, but otherwise, please overlook any mistakes. Writing this story is a kind of wish fulfillment for me. It’s partly fictionalized, with some power-fantasy elements and a golden finger, such as during the growth-spurt period. The story mainly focuses on women’s singles figure skating. The romance is undecided, but there probably won’t be any. I welcome your feedback!)
[By the way, I enjoy shipping couples and getting emotional satisfaction from it, including but not limited to Qun’e, Congtong, Wangliu, Youtian, Checheng, Shasha, Qian… So that may come through in An’an’s point of view. Please skip it if you don’t like that!] [I’m not optimistic about Zhu Yi’s performance at the Beijing Olympics, so enter with caution if that bothers you.]
Note added May 13, 2025: Since the ending was rushed, there may be typos and inconsistencies in the main story. Please bear with me!
Note added February 9, 2026: A collection of bonus chapters is now available on my profile. Updates will be irregular, and you can leave requests in the comments.
The results of the AI search were unexpectedly good. I don't give the heroine a golden finger. I don't criticize other athletes/coaches/countries. The interaction between the heroine and the people around her is quite cute. However, because the plot style is a competition assembly line, the growth line is not obvious.
It was so beautiful that I cried at the Beijing Winter Olympics in the end. Figure skating is really a poignant and beautiful competitive sport.
