Conan and Ai: Growing Up with Ai Haibara

[ConAi alternate timeline] [Parallel world] [Sweet, no angst]

It doesn’t have much staying power, but the short stories are better than the main story~

The aim is spot-on, though, and it’s sure to hit you right in the heart~

This book has many arcs, and I’m going to make it sweet a hundred times over!!!

The first story, [By Your Side], is about Conan not choosing to turn back into Shinichi Kudo right away after the Black Organization was destroyed!

Instead, he continues living as Conan Edogawa through elementary, middle, and high school...

“Goodbye, Conan Edogawa...”

A year has finally passed since we destroyed the Black Organization, and I’ve completed the antidote that can turn Kudo back to normal.

The days when we no longer need to fear the Black Organization.

This should be what I’ve always longed for...

For the past year, I’ve felt somewhat confused and dissatisfied.

Even today, I still don’t know what’s been troubling me. But the instant I prepared to hand the completed antidote to Kudo, I suddenly understood the answer.

I’ve been able to stay by his side as his partner all this time because we’re still elementary school students...

If our bodies return to how they were in high school, and he gets together with that girl, we won’t be able to keep the same distance between us as before.

What weighs on me even more is that Conan Edogawa, the one who brought a ray of hope into my darkness, will disappear from this world...

Of course, he’ll go on living as Shinichi Kudo, so he won’t really disappear.

I understand that.

But as someone who has been through so many hardships with him, I’m sure I’ll...
