Then Let’s Say a Proper Goodbye

(A beautiful, understanding translator vs. a cold, sharp-tongued music producer) Two equally strong leads + reunion after years apart + saving each other + career-driven + mutual devotion + tearjerker + in sync + willing to change for each other + happy ending ✓ Good girl Li Chu earned her way into the translation department at Jing University without a hitch. She thought her life would simply follow her parents’ plans and remain calm and ordinary, until she met him, the one who was different from everyone else. Yuan You was a male classmate with a story to tell. He was quiet and aloof, and never held back when snapping at people. He loved music and dance, and as a trainee at Ty Entertainment, he was waiting for his chance to debut. To him, everything else had to make way for his music and dancing. Li Chu said, “The world is too far away, and there’s still a long road ahead. It’s enough that we’re together right now. But if that day really comes, I hope we can say a proper goodbye. After all, I really like you. I really, really did.” Yuan You replied, “I agree. Have you heard that song? People who can’t embrace each other should say a proper goodbye. But when I say goodbye, I don’t mean the end.” Then let’s say a proper goodbye and start over, getting to know each other again from the beginning, starting with your name. First, the college campus, then the workplace. In between, they spend time apart. When they meet again, will they still be the same as before, both as individuals and in their feelings? After years apart, fate brings the two of them together again. What kind of story will unfold? Come listen as I tell you the story of Yuan You and Li Chu. This book has both sweet and heartbreaking moments. Its main theme is saying goodbye: to loved ones who have passed away, and to relationships that weren’t meant to be. It also explores many issues with real-world significance.
