Fairy, Don’t Blame Me: This Ancestor Would Rather Be Mortal Than Immortal

[Cultivation] [Ascend Through Incense Offerings] [No System] [Invincible Power Fantasy] The founding patriarch of Qin Tian Sect, Qin Shang, returned from the Thirty-Sixth Immortal Domain and swore never to become an immortal again. Only after visiting the Immortal Domains and returning did Qin Shang realize that the Thirty-Sixth Immortal Domain wasn't as wonderful as he'd imagined. In particular, their region was governed by the Fairy Domain, where everyone who ascended to immortality first had to become a “young attendant.” Become an immortal for the sake of cultivation? To learn immortal arts? And sell your dignity in the process? Qin Shang's temper flared. A man may be killed, but he cannot be humiliated! (He accidentally stumbled upon the fairies in a meeting and got hunted down!) So Qin Shang returned, and while he was at it, he “converted” every temple in the Thirty-Sixth Immortal Domain into one dedicated to himself, building himself the most powerful “golden body.” He would soak up the incense of the mortal world, live another ninety-nine thousand years, and never enter the Fairy Domain to be anyone's “simp” again. But the domain lords of the Thirty-Sixth Immortal Domain were furious. “You don't have to be a simp, but you can't tear down my temples!” “Exactly! What do you mean by tearing down our temples?” Qin Shang rolled his eyes. “You can't protect them anyway. They might as well worship me. Here in the mortal world, I can protect them!” The Fairy Domain was immediately besieged by the other Immortal Domains, forcing the fairies to beg Qin Shang to ascend at once, take his place among the immortals, and become the Fairy Domain's first male immortal lord. “Ascend?” “Dream on!” “I'll be invincible in the mortal world!”
