When Lu Suisui first meets Shi Ke, she is dazzled by the young man’s breathtaking looks.
But everyone around her says he is the Shi family’s illegitimate son, someone who has to stay out of sight and should be avoided.
Looks-obsessed Lu Suisui doesn’t care: good looks are justice.
Later, by a twist of fate, Lu Suisui and Shi Ke form a deeper bond.
Shi Ke insists on repaying her with his whole self, and makes Lu Suisui take responsibility for his virtue as a husband.
After they marry, Lu Suisui lays down three rules for Shi Ke: keep the marriage secret first, then fall in love.
Shi Ke has only one demand: they can’t sleep in separate rooms.
Lu Suisui: “Wait, I get to have this too?”
Years later, Lu Suisui rubs her aching back and points with a trembling finger at the wedding photo Shi Ke has enlarged and hung on the wall. “A bargain’s a bargain!”
The author rarely insists on updating after letting himself go, so give it five stars.
I have read three of the author's books. They are very interesting.
