Su Che has been a lawyer for two and a half years and has never lost a case in court, yet at home he has to hand over his entire paycheck. After he is diagnosed with cancer, his girlfriend's family's vile true colors make him sick. His mother-in-law grabs the money he needs to save his life and even pressures him to sign over his inheritance. “Son-in-law, I'm only doing this for your own good. The sooner you die, the sooner you're free. Some people spend everything they have and still die in agony. Is that what you want?” Su Che replies, “Why not mention that some people your age are already... dead!” His girlfriend flies into a rage and posts on RedNote, falsely accusing Su Che of domestic abuse: “Guys, can you believe this? I must have been blind to end up with such a trash boyfriend!” When netizens dig up his personal information and his girlfriend spreads lies, Su Che can take no more and exposes her lies in turn. His girlfriend is furious: “Just because you haven't abused me yet doesn't mean you won't in the future. Am I not allowed to stand up for my rights? You've been manipulating and controlling me. I'm depressed now! I'm calling the police. The law will give me justice!” But when the police arrive, her entire family... gets a shiny pair of silver bracelets. Some people aren't happy about it: “You're a grown man. Why argue with her? Can't you just let her have her way?” Looking at the people spreading rumors, cyberbullies, and keyboard warriors online, Su Che smiles. They're all money waiting to be made.
I really think this book is good, and it undoubtedly reveals the dangers of human nature.
