Global Mutation: The Little Folk Strike Back

[A little-person protagonist + human villains. Not a wish-fulfillment story. Exploring everyday human life, adventure, and a cunning protagonist.] Human society has entered the cyberpunk era, with people augmenting their bodies extensively with mechanical prosthetics. They discover the existence of the little folk and begin slaughtering them on a massive scale. To protect themselves, the little folk start injecting their bodies with animal DNA, awakening all kinds of superpowers: The cockroach's incredible survival ability, the blue-ringed octopus's incurable venom, the strongest physical defense of the angular sea snail, the electric eel's lightning, the corrosive power of acid ants... Lillian, a member of the little folk and an orphan, loves exploring the human world and uncovering all kinds of embarrassing little secrets about humans. After accidentally drinking a potion from a human laboratory, she gains superpowers from the DNA of all kinds of creatures. She leads the little folk, who are on the brink of extinction, in a fightback, determined to overthrow humanity's rule over the planet.
