(A mashup of elements from Dishonored, Hunt: Showdown, and more. First-time author with a new novel, so please go easy on me...)
A misdirected technology tree, gods parasitic upon the heavens beyond, and the greatest tragedy that can befall a civilization: having its path of growth cut short by something.
Whale oil extracted from leviathans, glowing with a blue light. The powerful slaughtering one another. Plague seizing its chance to spread. People suffering beyond words. Slavery still afflicts all living beings, and no longer just humans.
And the only one who can stop them... is you.
A savage practitioner of black magic, a bloodthirsty grand duke, a demon from the Void: all of these are you.
In the days to come, they will fear everything you do. Those bloodsucking nobles will dread your name, and the gods will loathe your existence.
When that day comes,
your hymns of praise and your infamous name will echo through the ages!
Pike: Awesome! Does that mean I get to save the world?
What do you mean I’m the root of all evil?
I'll be shameless first Feeling clumsy…
Good luck, author. I hope you can write more about Dishonor. You are the only Dishonor fan I have found that I can read. 😢 I want to see Morality and Corvo appear on the same level. Can the author give me some satisfaction? I even feel like I can try to use myself as Morality's Summoning Assassin. What do you think? I lost my job 😭 Why is it similar again?
I have completely fallen in love with this book. (🤔👍🏻)
I saw your book when you were just writing it, but when I saw your update speed, I thought you had cut it, so I stopped paying attention. Today I read it again and found that you are still writing it, at this update speed. . . .
The plot is great, the world view is great, the characterization is great, and the subject matter is great. I also like it. It's really to my liking.
First of all, I would like to write a good review about Hunting Duel, but the update span of yours is really uncomfortable. It has been on the bookshelf for 23 years, but it still has less than one million words in two years. The one star that is missing is because of your updates.
Come back quickly, I'll wait until the flowers fade.
The author writes very well but is lazy. No, I still want to watch it now! Also look at the mouth and teeth!!!
It's so beautiful, why are there so few people...
The writing is still very good, but the main character can't be a gimmick.
