The Mechanical Immortal Venerable

[A wild imagination, with fixes for some xianxia genre plot holes. Farming and development, with a slow start. Fresh, unusual worldbuilding: this cultivation world is different. Technology meets cultivation, but technology won't mindlessly overpower everything.]

The Myriad Worlds, an infinite expanse of universes and planes.

There are two main paths of evolution.

One is cultivation: seeking power within, gathering all might into oneself, and ultimately achieving individual greatness.

The other is technology: seeking power beyond oneself, growing stronger with the aid of external tools, and ultimately achieving greatness as a group.

What would happen if an ordinary young man from China unexpectedly obtained a technology-focused System, only to find himself stranded in the cultivation world?

One hundred thousand years later, Zhao Yu leads an army of cultivation mechs aboard cultivation starships to storm the Immortal Emperor's palace.

PS1: I want to build a different kind of cultivation world, one where the protagonist brings tremendous change. The System won't drive the plot.

PS2: I'm a beginner and my writing isn't very good, so please bear with me. The story is driven by a big imagination, but it isn't mindless, so please read with your brain switched on. Feel free to criticize what doesn't work, and please offer suggestions too. I'll do my best to improve.
