Gardenia in the Courtyard: The Yandere Arc

Lin Qingzhi was a small-town exam ace, a true beauty and top student. After graduating from a prestigious teachers’ university in China, she taught high school at a local elite private school. Mu Tingchuan was heir to the Mu family’s power. He was an obsessive, possessive tycoon who became fixated on anyone he set his sights on. By chance, Mu Tingchuan met Lin Qingzhi. Her eyes curved when she smiled, and her full, soft lips drove him wild. He couldn’t get enough of her. He loved her so much. So he plotted to ruin her and then took advantage of her vulnerability, presenting himself as a deeply devoted man. Lin Qingzhi slowly fell into his trap of tenderness. Later, Lin Qingzhi discovered the truth. By then, she had already quit her job and had neither the power nor the financial means to stand against Mu Tingchuan. She resolved to take revenge, and Mu Tingchuan found it thrilling. He thought, “Good girl, I’m falling more and more in love with you.” Lin Qingzhi was placed under house arrest. After a chance escape, she joined an organization. When she returned two years later, amid repeated tests and assassination attempts, she discovered that he had already forgotten her. Mu Tingchuan acted as though he had no memory of her at all. She learned about his past and got to know him again through their repeated encounters. Her resolve began to waver. What should she choose?
