Reckless, Sweet Kisses

Chi Lü was rebellious and unruly from birth, arrogant and looking down on everyone.

Yet, by chance, he met a fairy-like girl in a remote little town, beautiful enough to make anyone’s heart skip a beat.

He frightened her so badly at their first meeting that her eyes turned red. The timid look on her face was adorable.

Su Li had a sweet, innocent face and a soft, gentle voice, like a handful of feathers brushing against someone’s heartstrings.

She first saw Chi Lü on a night of torrential rain. The boy came to buy cigarettes dressed all in black, his bold silver hair especially eye-catching.

In Su Li’s mind, only the unruly troublemakers in their town would dye their hair like that. Uneasy and cautious, she handed him the cigarettes.

Then she heard him ask in a lazy, casual voice, “Hey, what’s your name?”

Su Li ignored him. The boy’s brazen, appraising gaze made her uncomfortable.

Chi Lü had never been ignored before. The girl’s cold attitude stoked his anger, but for some reason, it also made the little town seem less boring. Maybe staying for a while wouldn’t be so bad.

By chance, they ended up in the same class, and later became desk mates.

Under the dim yellow streetlights, the boy pinned her against the wall. His Adam’s apple bobbed as he spoke in a low, magnetic voice. “Su Li, I fucking like you.”
