Beneath the Warm Sun, There’s Only You

A tender romance between a beautiful artist and a rugged man from the Northwest.

A woman-pursues-man story, with love at first sight.

1.

Li Xin had a lonely, troubled childhood. That summer, she met the man who would become the love of her life.

During an art trip to the Northwest, Li Xin was kidnapped by poachers and had no way to save herself. Chen Feng rescued her. They barely spoke, but one look was enough to last a lifetime.

Later, Li Xin regretted not asking Chen Feng for his contact details. On the darkest nights, she would torment herself in a state of madness, longing for him in her cold apartment.

Thankfully, fate was kind and brought them together again. Determined to seize her chance, Li Xin went out of her way to draw the man in. And so their story began...

2.

One time, while drunk, Li Xin told Chen Feng the secret she had kept hidden for years...

“Chen Feng, when I learned what sex was, I wanted to kill that person. But I couldn’t!”

She touched Chen Feng’s face and spoke in anguish:

“I’m not whole anymore. Since I can’t give that to you, then I’ll give you the deepest place here.” She pressed a hand to her heart.

3.

Later, Chen Feng returned to duty and set foot in the Northwest once more.

When a criminal gang seized Li Xin to threaten Chen Feng,

her hair whipped across her face in the breeze as Li Xin shook her head emphatically and called out, “No, Chen Feng. You have to live well.”

A cheongsam beauty pursues a rugged man.
