Idiot, Get Off My Grave!

“You fool, get off my grave!” The old ghost pointed at the boy sitting on the mound, his bulging eyes glaring at him. “You fool, that’s my grave, not your family’s kang. Get down.” “Old ghost, call me a fool one more time and see what happens. I’ll tear the roof off your house! I have a name. It’s Wang Qiang.” Wang Qiang dug his heels into the grave mound twice and grinned. His pearly white teeth stood out among the crowd of lonely ghosts. “Old Liu, just let him sit there. He’ll leave soon,” the plump old ghost woman advised. Wang Qiang chuckled. “Old ghost, look at that. Even your neighbor looks down on you. You’ve spent over two hundred years as a ghost for nothing.” Old Liu felt like crying. Who wanted to be a ghost? If he could be reincarnated, who would choose to wander the mortal world for over two hundred years? “You fool, don’t push me too far. I, I… I…” Legend has it that every thousand years, the gates of the underworld suffer a calamity. Evil ghosts seize the chance to escape into the mortal world and wreak havoc. The true master of the underworld then sends a strand of his soul into the human realm to clean up the mess. According to rumors, the one the underworld sent to deal with the fallout this time was actually a fool. The Ten Yama Kings hurriedly put a stop to the rumor. “You can’t say that! Do you want to get yourself killed?”
