The Wandering Taoist

Qiao Lin, a forestry worker, is laid off. He and his friend Dapao try to start a business, but luck is against them, and they run into a haunted house. Forced onto the path of an occult practitioner, Qiao Lin finds himself caught amid the undercurrents of several forces: Chen Blindman, a fortune-teller from Jinmen; Lao Jin, a shaman who works with spirits; and Zhang the Paper Figure Maker. A staunch atheist, Qiao Lin has entered a whole new world.
