By reading these poems, I seem to be able to see the scene of the prosperous Tang Dynasty. Moreover, the annotations and appreciation in the book are also very wonderful, which gave me a deeper understanding of Tang poetry. I particularly like Li Bai's sentence in the book, "There will be times when the wind and waves break, and the clouds and sails will rise to help the sea." Every time I read it, I feel full of power. However, I kind of hate Concubine Yang, and think she was the indirect trigger of the Anshi Rebellion. Overall, this book is worth reading and highly recommended!
