"Morning Glow" published in 1881 contains five volumes. Different from the preference of most German philosophers for large and rigorous systems, Nietzsche once again adopted the aphorism style, "I explore profound issues like taking a cold bath-quick in and quick out... The cold force makes people move quickly!"
Nietzsche had a keen insight that when people's intuition and feelings conflict with "morality" and "reason", the latter's crushing binding force often becomes the root cause of modern people's spiritual problems. The so-called rules, including "customary morality", originally served people, but they grew arbitrarily and in turn became people's goals, forcing themselves to cut their feet and fit them.
In this magnificent aphoristic work, Nietzsche uses the "prejudices" of his life to judge moral prejudices and inspire us to take back power from the rules. This is a book of affirmation and healing that helps people find their humanity. It marks an important turning point in Nietzsche's philosophy. From then on, he began his grand journey: "Revaluation of all values."
Regarding "Morning Glow", Nietzsche suggested that you should not read this book while sitting upright in your study, but "read it freely while walking or traveling, burying your head down and raising your head again and again, until you find yourself entering a completely unfamiliar world."
In the history of Nietzsche's personal writings, this book lies between the second part of "Humanity, Too Willful" and "The Science of Joy". It belongs to the second stage of "Camel", "Lion" and "Child": "Lion". It is full of destructive power, shaking ancient values, and its mission is to open up space for the creation of new values.

This book was very enlightening and made me think about the impact of morals and rules on us. Nietzsche is right when he says that we are often bound by so-called "morality" and "rationality" and ignore our own intuition and feelings. This book is like a key that unlocks some of the shackles in my heart. And Nietzsche's words are powerful and sober like cold water. I think everyone should read "Zhaoxia" and find their own "Zhaoxia".
