The Movie Star's Ex-Girlfriend

At the film festival awards ceremony, the newly crowned Best Actor is interviewed by the host.

“Mr. Zhou, now that you've won, is there anything you'd like to do?”

“I want to give the trophy to her. I kept my promise.”

The host, eyes gleaming with curiosity, quickly asks, “Is she your ex-girlfriend?”

“Yes.”

“Then you can call her now and ask to get back together.”

Then my phone rang. My son answered it: “Hello, Mommy isn't here. Please leave a message.”

The newly crowned Best Actor's eyes instantly reddened. “Didn't you promise to wait for me? How could you go and marry someone else?”

His sweet little boy replied, “Mommy didn't get married. Daddy died.”
