Memoirs of Silent Island

Lately, those half-clear, half-obscure nightmares have started haunting me again, and they’re getting worse. I know my time to die… has finally come. In my nightmares, I always see all creation destroyed. I see living beings suffering amid buildings of completely different styles. I see colossal mountains piercing through solid layers of earth and rock, rising abruptly from the ground… The soil swept up by the mountains completely buries the wreckage, the piles of corpses, and the lives still clinging to existence. At last, amid utter silence, songs celebrating life ring out across the vast mountains. Their lingering melodies are steeped in an indescribable sense of danger and horror.
