Transmigrating to Chongqing

Do you believe parallel worlds exist?

Have you ever heard of someone around you transmigrating to a parallel world?

You probably wouldn't believe it. Almost no one around the heroine, Wu Manzhu, believes her either. Born and raised in the fantastical city of Chongqing, Wu Manzhu struggled with her studies from childhood and was strictly disciplined by her professor parents. She could hardly form any ambitions of her own. Her only passion was painting, and even as she approached thirty, she had never held a job. As she gradually searched for her true self, Wu Manzhu's world suddenly began to seem "strange." Now and then, she would see two suns or two moons, and bizarre events always followed these visions. By the time she finally realized she had been seeing parallel worlds, everyone around her had decided she was insane based on her behavior and sent her to Gele Mountain Psychiatric Hospital for treatment. Desperate and suffering the side effects of medication, Wu Manzhu fully entered a parallel world. Several months after she disappeared, she returned to the real world. By then, Wu Manzhu had become Wu Zeqi. Back in reality, she was already a different person, beginning a new life. What did she experience in the parallel world? Why does she sleepwalk and paint after returning? What is she still searching for?
