Global Freeze: Building a Doomsday Fortress from the Start

Shen Chao woke up to find that he had transmigrated to a parallel world and been bound to a System. Then the System reminded him that the world was going to end in just 45 minutes? “Are you kidding me? I just got here, and now I’m being sent right back?” Fortunately, he had a System, so he immediately turned his home into an apocalypse fortress. Inside the fortress, he could unlock all kinds of cutting-edge technology and upgrade it again and again! Cold? No problem. Unlock a standing air conditioner, put one in each corner of the room, add a row of radiators, and that fireplace looks pretty nice too, so why not unlock one? Not enough food? Unlock a food production platform. Bread and milk, lamb chops and roast duck, pizza and cake, one of each. Just a simple meal. Danger approaching? Unlock a 3D printer. A shotgun, submachine guns, sniper rifles, RPGs, air-to-ground missiles. Let’s start with a modest batch, just 40 of each. When the apocalypse arrived and everyone else was nearly freezing to death, Shen Chao was sipping an ice-cold soda in the air conditioning. When everyone else was nearly starving to death, Shen Chao was grilling meat and wondering what to eat tomorrow. When everyone else was attacked by unknown monsters, Shen Chao had already built towering electrified fences and automatic turrets, and was playing video games indoors.
