In Yu Shuangshuang's world, a day was a good one if she could eat her fill. Then her peaceful life was shattered. One day, after she was chosen as the next Holy Maiden, her own mother killed her, simply because Yu Shuangshuang's death would make her mother's life better again. With the faint chance of survival the Holy Maiden gave her, Yu Shuangshuang became a wandering spirit and watched over her mother for years. In the end, she was so disappointed that she faded away. But she never expected to be reborn in the body of another little girl with a similarly miserable life. This time, however, Yu Shuangshuang would no longer be weak and easy to bully.
