The author's writing skills are very deep and he tells each story in a fascinating way. I especially hate fictional characters. Fortunately, the characters in this book are based on history and are very real. Moreover, the book also introduces modern recipes, which is a real treat for a foodie like me! The author Feng Zhongliang is really amazing. I hope he can continue to write more good books like this.
The overall food classification in this book is based on characters, describing a series of food and their detailed recipes. However, the delicacies described mostly use fish, shrimp and soup stock, which is too complicated, and some food allusions lack research.
It works. Worth recommending.
You can learn while watching, drink tea, listen slowly, learn slowly in your mind, and enjoy the process slowly
