The Underworld and the Immortal Realm are the most powerful, bolstered by their God of War, while the Divine Realm is the most mysterious of all... Secret identities + coming-of-age story Jili Yue, a young spirit maiden of the Jili Spirit Clan, is drawn to the mortal world she has read about in storybooks, so she sneaks away from home. But she gets caught in a space-time quake and is accidentally transported to the Underworld, where she meets Guxing Lei, the Underworld King. She also discovers that the elders have sealed her spiritual powers. To survive, she embarks on a path of healing death gods and inadvertently awakens her second spiritual root. After leaving the Underworld, she begins wandering across the six realms. Along the way, she makes many new friends, and her spiritual powers grow through her trials, allowing her to protect those she cares about... A note about the title: I came up with this idea when I was in middle school, around 2015. Back then, I envisioned it as a story about a domineering, cold-faced Underworld King and a mischievous little goddess, which is why I chose this title. But as I began writing, I wanted my first book to be about a woman’s growth, so I made some changes. Unfortunately, the title can’t be changed.
