Egyptian Empire

This book is the second part of the trilogy "The Rise and Fall of Ancient Egypt" ("The First Pharaoh", "The Egyptian Empire" and "The End of Ancient Egypt") in the National Geographic Global History Series. After Egypt expelled the invading Hyksos, Egypt opened a new chapter: the New Kingdom. This book comprehensively presents the heyday of ancient Egyptian history, when Egypt was one of the most powerful countries in the eastern Mediterranean. During this period, a large number of famous pharaohs emerged in history.
