This is an in-depth science popularization about cancer. The author, Pineapple, was once a front-line scientist in the research and development of anti-cancer drugs. He interprets the truth about cancer from multiple angles, dispels rumors about cancer, and explains cancer stories in the news in simple, fluent and slightly playful language.
There are no lies, only empirical evidence. It is not a "health secret book", not a "chicken soup for the soul", and not a "cancer biology", so that the general public can easily understand it.
From scientific principles to personal experience, from historical experience to the latest cutting-edge, it introduces the knowledge of preventing and treating malignant tumors, guiding readers to rationally face the king of all diseases, understand cancer, and live happily.
Cancer is cold, but sincere and reliable popular science books are heart-warming!
Tribute to life.

It is a great popular science book for non-medical professionals to understand cancer (although the title "Doctors Also Read" makes me feel a bit clickbait [laughs evilly]). Nowadays, more and more people are suffering from cancer. I believe that everyone has a relative or friend who is unfortunately suffering from cancer. However, we know too little about cancer. If you scroll through the comments on Douyin, you can see that there are a lot of folk rumors about dying faster with chemotherapy and seeking traditional Chinese medicine. Some people even sell cancer treatment remedies. I am very worried that there are patients or family members who have listened to the rumors and harmed themselves or their families. Therefore, it is recommended that everyone read this book or similar popular science books to understand cancer and establish a correct understanding.
Don't smoke (second-hand smoke, oil fume), exercise as much as possible, and do more check-ups if possible. This is what you can learn from this book to prevent cancer. It's that simple, not so complicated. As for you doing these things and not getting cancer, it has something to do with your genes. There are too many weird and confusing books on the market, telling us to pay attention to various things and make our lives cautious. Getting cancer, like success, is more a matter of fate than human effort. People seem to have a deep-rooted weird thinking, believing that hard work can change everything. People who get cancer often frantically reflect on whether it is a problem with their own life and rest, and whether they deserve to get cancer. But it is undeniable that if you do nothing that is obviously wrong and do something that is obviously right, relying on these efforts will at least not increase your cancer rate.
The theory goes hand in hand with humorous language and metaphors. I really recommend reading it. Might be helpful for biology. I am only a high school student, but when I read this book, I could appreciate the meaning and humor in it. Although sometimes I may not understand some of the professional remarks, he is very considerate and analytical. I highly recommend it. It is not for biology, to understand cancer or other things, but it can at least be read as a joke book.
The author told a lot of the truth about cancer in relaxed language, which gave me a deeper understanding of this terrible disease. And some of the cases in the book are also very interesting, allowing me to see the strength and courage of cancer patients. I think this book is helpful to everyone and worth reading!
Factors that cause cancer: the number of cell divisions, the number of cell mutations, the probability that cell mutations are cancer cells, and the failure of the immune system to eliminate cancer cells.
Organ damage requires cell division to repair. Diseases that chronically damage organs require long-term cell division for repair.
Disturbed work and rest will increase the probability of suffering from various diseases.
Cooking oil, smoke, inhaling polluted air, stale food, and consuming large amounts of salt will all increase the risk of cancer.
Exercise can enhance immunity.
Steaming and boiling food is the healthiest.
Eat less red meat and maintain your vegetable and fruit intake.
It clarified many misunderstandings about cancer and increased the understanding of cancer-related knowledge. I hope humans can conquer cancer sooner, as the author said, and turn cancer into a chronic disease that humans can coexist with for a long time.
This book explains the knowledge about cancer in a very thorough and easy-to-understand manner. Before reading it, I had a vague understanding of cancer, and I always felt that this matter was very far away from me. After reading this book, I truly understood the complexity and cruelty of cancer, and suddenly realized that every day of living healthily and not being threatened by disease is an extremely precious blessing that deserves to be cherished. Cancer is actually closely related to life and health. I also know better how to pay attention to health and prevent diseases. After reading it, I can do some popular science for my family and protect their health. I recommend it to everyone^O^
Scientific, comprehensive and close to life
Oops, I came across this book by chance, and it took me a short time to read it. Now that I have finished reading this book and posting this comment, my nose suddenly feels sore and my eyes are wet. I can feel the author's great love from the book, and I also know more about cancer. I sincerely hope that more and more scientists, doctors, teachers, and workers from all walks of life can have such great love, and the world will become better and better.
This book is easy to understand and the author is caring and dedicated. Thumbs up!
Very beneficial and easy to understand.
Simple, easy to understand and practical
Popularize science knowledge and benefit all living beings.
Popular science knowledge, learn and understand
It's a good popular science book. If you read more books like this and get more readers, cancer will gradually be understood by more people. Once you are familiar with it, you won't talk about cancer and you can deal with it better.
Practical, I learned something I didn't know
Very good, lead the public to understand it correctly, and only know that certain examinations are excessive and inappropriate. They should conduct targeted examinations, relax, stay away from it, understand it and overcome it.
It's very scientific and rigorous. It helps me understand cancer more correctly and learn a lot about it. It's very good.
True and objective, clear and easy to understand
The language is simple and easy to understand, very good, thank you to the author
The content is quite good and very readable
An easy-to-understand, humorous medical knowledge book worth reading!
