The Eerie Hunter

[Cool, aloof cat-like heroine x gentle, warm-hearted dog-like hero] Ever since Zhang Quanmiao could remember, she had brought misfortune to everyone around her. First she brought bad luck to her parents, then to her friends. The villagers said her grandmother could read fortunes using rice, and that revealing heaven's secrets too often had brought misfortune upon her descendants. But Zhang Quanmiao knew the truth: it all stemmed from her ability to see with her yin-yang eyes what others could not, and from a wish she had made as an ignorant child... By chance, she meets Qiao Yiming, who claims to be a supernatural hunter. He immediately sees that there is something unusual about Zhang Quanmiao's eyes and even tries to recruit her as his colleague and partner. He also says he can help her break free from the wish she made to an evil god. The closer she gets to the misfortune that struck the village all those years ago, the more Zhang Quanmiao realizes that human nature is the most terrifying thing of all. The red thread of fate binds Zhang Quanmiao and Qiao Yiming together. And Qiao Yiming seems to be hiding a secret of his own...
