After I Transmigrate into a Book, the Foolish Side Character Stops Following the Plot

After unexpectedly transmigrating into a book, she starts living the good life. With the identity of a wealthy heiress to back her up, she leaves behind her old role as a brainless supporting character who clung to the male lead. She spends whatever she wants and even shakes down the CEO for a little extra cash. She steps up to save the heroine in trouble. (The male lead is speechless: “Excuse me, miss, are you sure that isn't my role?”) The original heroine is clear-eyed: instead of waiting for the CEO to swoop down from the heavens and save her, she'd rather rely on herself. Better to depend on yourself than on a man. She's no Cinderella. She just wants to be queen! (Cue applause.) Gu Mingyue is stunned. How did she manage to change the whole plot by accident after transmigrating into a book? Never mind. Why does this seem even more interesting now?
